Unmotivated..

Well, the finish line is supposedly near which although I should, and indeed I am very happy about it, I am completely unmotivated to work hard to finish on a high. In fact, the exact opposite; I just want it all to finish and so I can just move on.

I have had this stupid piece of assessment sitting over my head, and it is due tomorrow and I am still unmotivated to really get it done. Anyway, hopefully I get myself into gear in the next couple of hours and  get this all over and done with.

There are more interesting and important things in life that are to come… it’s time to move on.. if only i could get my backside into gear…

Anyway, it’s been some what raining so I have had a couple of opportunities to try out my jacket (refer previous post), however I still haven’t given it a good solid drenching. Looking forward to traipsing around in the rain and jumping in puddles!!

Woot!

So my first piece of clothing has arrived for the end of year trip! Woo hoo!!

Cheazles and I are now proud new owners of an Arc’teryx Theta AR Jacket

We have a few other items we’re waiting on delivery for which should be equally awesome! I am however waiting on my orthotics to come through so I can get my boots too! Finally!! All the gear I’ve been drooling over I now have a reason to buy!

Beyond that, I have recently been on a little cruise around the South coast of Tassie and have discovered that I do infact get sea sick… but boy were the sights breath taking… Some of the most amazing scenery and I highly recommend people go and experience it. I am proud to say that despite the discomfort, I did manage to keep everything in my stomach down and the experience was worth it. The scenery in the general Tassie countryside was quite picturesque and I fully understand why Tasmanians love their state.

Anyway, now I have a mounting number of assignments for uni and a mounting number of reports to churn out at work… so back to the grind on Monday. The year is really flying along..
