Happy New Year

Well, there is approximately 20 minutes left in 2006.

The year has flown by… I hope everyone has had a great year. I must say this year has been pretty positive for myself and hope 2007 will be similarly positive. I still haven’t thought of a new years resolution though. My 2006 resolution was to forward plan. Maybe I’ll follow along on the same line for 2007.

Anywhoz, 18 minutes to midnight now. I had a lovely dinner with my family and my sister’s fiances family too. Great food and a nice affogato to top it off. Though it took a little while for it to be served. I was thinking someone had to go milk the cow for the milk or something. With dinner over, I’m chilling by myself now since everyone has buggered off overseas. So time to chuck on my DVD and lie back. Scored me a copy of the 2nd Ashes test in Adelaide for my birthday! Gold!

Boxing Day Test

Well, the ticket I got from work to attend the cricket was GOLD!!

Our seats were so good! Just undercover so that the rain was not an issue but we were still close to the ground. We were also located just next to the Barmy Army who created a fantastic atmosphere as well. The chants of ‘You all live in a convict colony’ – to the tune of Yellow Submarine and the other traditional Barmy Army tunes kept us entertained along with the amazing skill of the one and only WARNIE!!!

When the 700th wicket fell Warnie recieved a standing ovation from all 89000 in attendance!

Anywhoz, my blabberings will not do the day justice… I’d just like to say… it was AWESOME.. there is no other way to describe it.

Sharp Pointy

Now this here is a knife!

Absolutely stupid, but I guess you should be able to find whatever tool you need on it.

However, this knife below looks a little more usable. It is a Chad Los Banos design by Boker and would be a great every day carry.

Anyways… besides finding some new things to drool at, life has been plodding along as usual. Working 2 jobs now, so my weekends are the only free time I have… BUT..the weather has been hot which makes me not want to do anything with my free time. However, since it’s coming up to christmas there are presents to buy yadah yadah yadah… so I’m just gonna have to bear the discomfort. Not much to add here… kinda boring. Oh.. need to buy a new fan for my CPU… the damn thing is making WAY too much noise… damn pentium chips!!
