Need Sleep

Well, after staying up all night yesterday I got rid of my assignment finally! It was a rather sub-par effort, but it’s out of my hands now! Should be well and truly snoozing right now, but am up waiting for my cousin to arrive. Silly me volunteered to stay up to let them in, but I have to get up at 6:30 to go to work in the morning and it’s already 2:20!
I think I’ll struggle tomorrow… good thing it is only a half day for me!
Managed to level my character on W.o.W. tonight as well! Level 52! Ever so slowly am I edging towards lvl 60!
Anyway… think I’ll go and read in bed or something… Hmmm… I do have some durian in the fridge too… MMMmmmmm…

3:45am

So… Why am I awake at this hour? Because I am succesfully wasting my time and not getting my work finished! I have an assignment that is worth 33.33% of my subject mark that is due this Thursday. However, I am not being particularly effective in doing it. I think I will go to bed now. I need to get this mostly done tomorrow… then I can get back to the fun of grinding my character to lvl 52 (now specced with STORMSTRIKE) and also I have recieved a few new martial arts videos from my uncle to have a look through. So I guess I should get this done ASAP!

The Blackhole That Is W.o.W.

Well… I don't know where all my time disappears to nowadays. It's just one more quest, or another 10k xp… and then ZOMG! it's 3am! WTF?!

At least I have the impending doom of university requirements keeping me from disappearing into this world! But I find myself telling others that "Lunch is for Wusses" when they say they can't Instance cos it's lunchtime!

However at the same time I do get quite annoyed by the game (I know… sacrilege to some), just because of the sheer stupidity of many people and also the behaviour that is exhibited by some due to the anonymity that the internet provides.

Anyway, enough of my babbling.

Thought I'd share with you what I'd LIKE my toon to eventually look like at this stage. (Note: I'm not even close to this at all… no epics for my Noob Toon which hasn't even dinged 60! BUT… if I get there then Stormstrike/Windfury Crits, Crits, Crits FTW!! many alliance on our server will feel my WTFBBQPWNAGE! followed by them yelling 'Nerf Shaman!')

Oh.. all the left over rubbish I should have thrown out from our night of cutting in the backyard is still there too! At least there weren't too many questions raised about why there were bits of stuff scattered all around the backyard and why there was so much noise at 3am in the backyard!

Return of the Ginger Ninja

Thursday last week saw the return of the Ginger Ninja to our shores. However, we were not graced with his presence until Sunday.

Although he left his mates hanging high and dry on Sunday from midday til about 3-4pm, it was nonetheless a worthwhile wait to see his sorry face. Plus he came bearing gifts!

So, off we went and for a feed with Twisty and the Old man… Now as the Ginger Ninja is an exponent of the Kashima Shinto Ryu, we were shown a few tidbits after dinner, and then spent much of the night watching Systema DVDs. After leaving the Old Man's house we went over to visit Happy and the Spunky One for a round of Kancho (ok I'm lying.. there DEFINATELY WAS NO KANCHO GOING ON!!) then toddled off back to my place.

There began our fun filled night of sharp pointy debauchery! Ok I over exaggerate, but it was a fun way to end off our night/early morning.

So after a night of ZERO sleep, we dumped the Ginger Ninja at the Airport.

Now the Ginger Ninja has left our shores back to Japan, all I can say is t'was nice seeing ya, send over a few more bokken and if you want your anime back, you are going to need to come visit again!

Oh… and on a side note… a big CONGRATULATIONS to Celil on getting hitched! All the best for the future with your lovely wife! You rock Habib!
